Procurement Head is responsible for creating and implementing the sourcing strategies for Pan India, streamline the comprehensive services to minimize costs and guarantee the highest quality of goods and services for the organization. This position involves managing a team of professionals in sourcing, quality, logistics, and costing, and managing supplier elationships, and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing initiatives
align with business goals. A proven track record in Pan India / Global sourcing setup is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities / Functions:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with the organization's goals.
Collaborate with the Group companies’ procurement department to take over procurement seamlessly
Identify new sourcing opportunities for optimising inventories and to deliver superior customer satisfaction
Integrate, Recruit, develop, and oversee employees within the sourcing department.
Analyse and calculate procurement costs, devising strategies for cost reduction.
Develop KPI’s and dashboards to highlight cost savings, and service level satisfaction and populate it regularly
Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and develop robust partnerships with key suppliers, covering costs, terms of supply, service, and quality.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and optimise sourcing needs and plan ahead
Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Scale the central procurement company to be a Rs. 500 crore company in 3 years and make it a profitable organisation- supplying beyond the internal group companies.
Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices and ensure optimize purchases.
